Join Robin B. Kessler, CA, NJ AIA Representative in an interview with Dan Riegler through the AIA Teleconference NJ Region. Dan will be teaching us all about Frankincense Resins and how they can increase our quality of life. We will discuss the past, present and future of resins and how they are incorporated in Aromatherapy.
Dan is an Herbal Apothecary, Wildcrafter, Sculptor, perfumer, aromatherapist, craftsman, alchemist and astrologer, father and mentor. He is the owner of New Dawn Herbal Apothecary in Hamilton, Canada, which provides a selection of fresh & fair trade, ethical and sustainably harvested Frankincense and Myrrh species, local and exotic fragrance materials, unusual essential oils, natural perfume ingredients and animal essences. astrodynamic plant preparations, herbal salves, cremes, tinctures, and oils.
Dan is the past head of "Ghetto Green", reclaiming student rental gardens from absentee landlords, in the McMaster University "Student Ghetto" area of Hamilton. He also is volunteer steward of The Apothecary's Garden @ The Teaching Gardens in Westdale, Hamilton. He provides family-friendly, hands-on herbal workshops, as well as herb and wild mushroom walks for groups and individuals. Dan publishes two blogs: Apothecarysgarden.com is a journal about herbs, plants, and processes, recipes, plant alchemy, natural fragrance, medicine, astrodynamics, rhythms and cycles, medical astrology, traditional wisdom, herbs and healing, science and spirit. The second blog, Fairtradefrankincense.com, explores our ancient and modern relationship with nature's fragrant, medicinal oleoresins and provides a link joining traditional harvesters directly with our western market in fair and mutually beneficial commerce.

Robin is a trained and Certified Aromatherapist in Central New Jersey. She has completed over 340+ hours of education at Aromahead Institute and The School of Aromatic Studies. She is now studying for the Advanced Aromatherapy Program. Through these Institutes, she has learned the chemistry and how the individual components of the essential oils may help your body to heal itself both physically and emotionally. She is the head Aromatherapy consultant for the Stein Hospice group where she works with elders who are trying to pass on to the next realm and make others more comfortable using Aromatherapy. She also consults with seniors and also give free seminars all around New Jersey on How to Use Essential Oils Safely. She is the Head Administrator who started the Frankincense Resins and Other Resins Facebook Group which is an educational group about all resins.
