Rodney presented research using essential oils for dementia in the hospice setting.
About Rodney Schwan
Rodney Schwan is a Clinical massage therapist and Esthetician licensed since 1989, who received aromatherapy foundation training and certification from Valerie Edwards and advanced aromatherapy advanced aromatherapy training and certification from Valerie Worwood's Aroma Genera Diploma Course. Rodney assisted in the launching of Tisserand Aromatherapy in the USA, and founded the Aromatherapy Program at San Diego Hospice in 1996; his responsibilities include material and pharmacy management, education (Institute of Palliative Medicine), research, and patient care treatment and planning. Rodney is an international lecturer and consultant for Children's Hospital and UCSD Medical Center in San Diego, California. Rodney Schwan is principal of the Institute of Aromatherapy San Diego, and owner of aroma4.com/Global Essence AromaSpa.
