Teleconferences

AIA's Teleconference was held on September 16, 2009.

Our Presenter:
Dorene Petersen, BA, Dip. NT, Dip. ACU, RH (AHG)
President, Principle, and CEO of American College of Healthcare Sciences

Topic:
Exploring the Potential of Pistacia lentiscus var Chia oil

About the Teleconference:
Mastic is the resin from Pistacia lentiscus, an evergreen shrub grown in the Mediterranean. For more than 2,500 years, mastic has been used in Greek medicine for gastrointestinal disorders. Today, mastic is commonly used as a culinary flavoring and ingredient in chewing gum, and in dentistry and perfumery. The oil has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, and is widely used with skin disorders. Learn about the many holistic health benefits of mastic oil and how to integrate its use into your aromatherapy practice and everyday life.
